Ingredients
- 1 block tofu, cut into thick slices
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and pan-fry tofu slices until golden brown on both sides.
- Pour in dark soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir gently to coat the tofu.
- Add water and let the tofu braise for 5–8 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and absorb.
- Dish out and enjoy hot with steamed rice.
